Hello world! I want to share my story through this website to let people know that they are not alone with such problem. My name is Aktolkyn, and I'm middle-aged. When I was born, I was completely healthy and didn't have any problems with my health, but when I was around 10 years old, I got the typical flu. I had a runny nose, I was coughing, and I had a temperature, I had all the typical symptoms. However, later I started feeling worse, and when I went to the hospital, doctors found out that I also had pneumonia and inflammation of the appendix. I had to do the surgery for the removal of appendicitis. I was taking lots of different medicines, got many injections, and took antibiotics that were too strong for my child's health. Generally, I was getting lots of chemicals, which obviously were bad for my health. As a result, it all negatively affected the auditory nerve. I was left without the ability to hear, and while being a child, I had to learn a sign language and get used to such a lifestyle. Now I face many challenges while being an adult. For example, when I need to wake up in the morning, I can't hear the alarm, so I have to put the phone under my pillow to feel the vibration. Also, it's really difficult for me to find a good job that I will enjoy and I will earn enough money from it for living. However, my family is supporting me a lot and helps me with all my challenges. I hope this website will reach lots of people who also have such problem, and you have to remember that you're not alone in this world who are struggling with such problem.
