Silent Storytellers collects stories from deaf people about their challenges to create educational VR experiences that increase awareness and understanding.

2.PROJECT OWNERSHIP AND PARTNERS

This project is developed under the auspice of:

• NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences (Emmen): NHL Stenden holds the intellectual property rights to this website and the associated VR experiences developed through this project.
• MDT Project (Maatschappelijke Diensttijd): The MDT project is a partner in this initiative, supporting its social impact goals.

By submitting stories to this platform, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Your contributions may be used by NHL Stenden for educational, research, and developmental purposes
• Anonymized versions of your experiences may be shared with MDT for project evaluation
• The VR experiences created from these stories are owned by NHL Stenden
• The stories may be preserved as part of the educational archives at NHL Stenden

3.STORY SUBMISSION TERMS

• By submitting your story, you grant us permission to use it in our VR educational scenarios
• You maintain the right to have your story removed upon request
• We will credit you for your story only if you specifically request to be credited

4.ACCEPTABLE USE

• Content submitted must be your own personal experience
• Do not include defamatory, offensive, or illegal content
• Do not share private information about other people without their consent
• We reserve the right to refuse or remove inappropriate submissions

5.INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

• The website content and VR experiences belong to Silent Storytellers
• Stories are shared by contributors for educational purposes only
• We do not claim ownership of your personal experiences
