Kyan Jeuring

Hello World, my name is Kyan and I am an IT student at NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences. I believe that technology can be used to make a positive impact on the world, and I am looking forward to working with my team to create something meaningful. Together, we can raise awareness about the challenges faced by the deaf community and help bridge the gap between hearing and non-hearing individuals.

Victoria Iașcevschi

Hi, I’m Victoria — a student passionate about technology and helping others. With this project, we’re combining our IT skills and desire to make a real difference. Our game is designed to bring people together and highlight the everyday challenges deaf individuals face — often unnoticed by others. I hope Deafinity and this website will raise awareness and inspire change. Share your story and play the game — that’s how we’ll know we made an impact.

Flavius Petrașciuc

Hello, my name is Flavius and I am an Information Technology student at NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences. I am happy to participate in this project, knowing that I can make an impact alongside my team members. Together, we strive to bring to life the stories of those who don't have the means of expressing them. This way, we can bring people together by raising awareness and fostering empathy.

Our Goal

Deafinity is a game that provides immersive VR experience and this website is designed to raise awareness that many people live with hearing challenges. Through powerful storytelling, cutting-edge technology, and collaboration with deaf individuals and sign language interpreters, we aim to spark empathy, inspire change, and build practical skills in design, coding, and teamwork.
